Thanksgiving Harvest of Hope Appeal Through October 11

29 September 2021

Village of Hope volunteers are preparing Thanksgiving Harvest of Hope hampers to be delivered to our neighbours in need on October 8. All of our registered families will receive a turkey or ham, along with all of the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner. We've purchased 125 turkeys, 118 hams, 260 bags of potatoes, and so much more... This year on October 8 we'll provide food for more than 1000 Lincoln residents (and hopefully, leftovers for the week to follow). A dinner doesn't end food insecurity but it's an opportunity to contemplate the hope of a future more secure while policy makers work toward necessary income solutions. Thank you to all who've donated to our annual Thanksgiving Appeal, and to the volunteers whose labour make this dinner, and our daily food distribution possible for our neighbours in need in Lincoln. To Donate, if you are able -
