Today might be tough, but with the support of the community, tomorrow might be easier.
Lincoln’s Village of Hope is in full swing for its holiday hamper program, which provides hampers to those in need. Executive director Cheryl Keddy Scott said it’s the time of season for hope.
“We want to provide hope that tomorrow is going to be a better day,” she said.
But while hope is the theme of the season, Keddy Scott acknowledged that it is a difficult time. With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing, and a lot of uncertainty, she’s noticed some anxiety about the coming months.
