Expanding Village of Hope To Meet Growing Need

1 October 2021

COMING SOON :: In November, Village of Hope will open new doors at another, second larger facility in the community, currently under renovation. Our new facility will allow us to serve the challenge of expansion in social need within the community over the past two years, exacerbated by the pandemic.
In addition to foodbank services, the new facility will feature walk-in cooler/freezers allowing us to rescue more food, increasing the variety and volume of fresh, nutritious foods we will offer those in need throughout the year.
The increased capacity will allow us to again offer programs and services to strengthen food and shelter security in the community, including job search and employment skills training. Currently, Village of Hope assists more than 500 registered persons/families each month.
Today's Village of Hope (former JPS) will continue to serve the community with an emergency access foodbank, thriftstore, bicycle repair clinic, migrant worker services, volunteer training and workshops, and our Safe at Home program, providing household items, furniture, and clothing to registered clients. Watch our page for further details, and November opening announcements.

L-R: Executive Director, Cheryl; Food Bank Coordinator, Anna; and Administrative Assistant, Nicole ready to welcome clients and donors soon.
