Make It Monthly - You can make a very large impact in our community with a small monthly donation, and our page makes that very simple… DonateWhen made monthly, 50 cents a day, a dollar a day or what you're able to donate, sustains our programs and enables us to assist Lincoln families through difficult times. We're the bridge that keeps their lights on, keeps them in their shelter, and with food in their fridge. Join our High Hopes club as a monthly donor, and help us help our neighbours.

Help us keep their lights on (and much more...) for many of our registered families, seniors, and individuals. In 2023 Village of Hope Niagara advocated on behalf of 78 families, and 12 seniors, successfully keeping them connected to utilities. The cost of the program was more than 17,000 dollars. In 2024, we are expecting an increase in program costs of 25%. Your support of our programs makes a difference in the lives of our neighbours in Lincoln.

Please give, if you are able… Keep Their Lights On

“Thank you to Village of Hope for helping my family get through 2023, without you I’m sure we would have been homeless. Now we have a home and so much Hope that 2024 is our year. Bless you all.”

“ Thank you to everyone at Village of Hope Niagara, as a Dad of 3 young children, with a loving wife. It was devastating to walk into your charity and admit we hadn't eaten anything for over a day. I hardly got the words out and Cheryl and her volunteers was taking us to the food room. We went from feeling like failures, deflated to having hope that someone cares.”

Be The Difference this year,
for our neighbours in need

Did you know?

Our Lincoln neighbours in need are facing the most difficult season of all. Without sufficient incomes or supports, many will remain food and shelter insecure. While all around are greeting the new year with joy our neighbours may only know anxiety and despair, with futures uncertain. We’re working throughout the year to see that our neighbours too can feel hope and find joy with their children, parents, and partners.

In our community of Lincoln, as many as 1 in 6 among our neighbours, are going hungry a part of each month. With food costs up by 9.7 per cent, and shelter costs up by 7.4 per cent, seniors, children, and their families in our community are dramatically affected. Food insecurity, not having enough money to buy food - is a serious public health problem in Ontario; 16.7% of households in Ontario are food insecure; 63% of households who are food insecure have employment as their main income; 59% of households receiving social assistance are food insecure.

Thank you Village of Hope Niagara for helping my family. When my husband and I came in and asked for help, everyone was so kind. We are now registered for Christmas and feel so appreciative knowing our 3 kids will have gifts under the tree. Bless you all.

"Thank you Village of Hope Niagara, never did I ever imagine I would be asking for help after being the donor last year. Can't imagine our town if VoHN was not in it. Thank you for all you do."
